Location. The Bahia Mar Beach Resort & Yachting Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., is on the Intracoastal Waterway and features Fort Lauderdale's largest yachting marina. The Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is six miles away, and the cruise terminal Port Everglades is one mile from the hotel. Fort Lauderdale's famous Water Taxi service is just one block away. The shops, galleries, dining and entertainment of Las Olas Boulevard are two blocks from the property, which is part of the marina complex.
Hotel Features. The 40-acre Bahia Mar Beach Resort & Yachting Center has a private walkway to the beach, which is just across the street. Recreational amenities include a fitness center, four lighted tennis courts, a heated pool and poolside games. The Bahia Mar Bar and Grille offers views of the ocean and marina, and serves Caribbean cuisine and fresh seafood. The poolside bar serves tropical drinks and grilled fare, and the Beach Market Deli offers sandwiches and snacks, which are also available packaged for picnics.
